Last updated: 2 October 2026. These terms cover use of LincsDirectory and purchases from TAG Sleaford Ltd, company number 12870323, trading as LincsDirectory.

Using the directory

LincsDirectory is free to search. Listings are built from public data and from details supplied by businesses. We work to keep them accurate but cannot guarantee that every listing is current or complete; check with the business before you travel or rely on it. We are not responsible for the goods or services of any business listed or advertised.

You may not copy the directory in bulk, scrape it, or use it to send unsolicited marketing. Underlying public data remains available from its publishers under their own licences.

Free listings and claims

Listing a business by name, address and category is free. Claiming a listing is free. We may ask for reasonable evidence that you are connected to a business before changing or removing its listing. We may decline, edit or remove any listing that is inaccurate, unlawful, misleading or not a business trading in Lincolnshire.

Featured listing: what you are buying

A Featured listing costs £4.99, paid once. There is no subscription and no renewal fee. It includes:

  • a photo of your business, a link to your website, your phone number, opening hours and a short description, all supplied by you;
  • placement at the top of search results for your town and category, with a clear "Featured" label, for as long as the directory operates and the listing stays accurate;
  • one free local business report from Aide, our business-reports service, delivered by email.

We email you a secure payment link; your listing goes Featured once payment clears and we have your details, usually within two working days. We may ask you to change a photo or wording that is unlawful, misleading or unsuitable. If a business closes or asks to be removed, the Featured listing ends with it. If we ever close the directory, we will give Featured businesses at least 30 days' notice; the £4.99 is a one-off payment for the service already provided and is not refunded in that case unless the listing has been live for less than 3 months, in which case we refund it.

Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer, you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase made at a distance. A Featured listing is a service that starts when we publish it; by asking us to start within the 14 days you agree that, if you then cancel, you pay for the part already provided. If we have not yet published your Featured listing, you can cancel for a full refund, usually within 14 days. The Aide report is digital content: once we have sent it, the right to cancel it ends. If something is wrong

If your Featured listing or report contains an error we made, or does not match what we described, tell us and we will correct it or refund you. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Advertising

Advertising on LincsDirectory is quoted in writing and starts when you accept the quote. Adverts are always labelled. We may refuse or remove any advert that is unlawful, misleading or unsuitable for a family audience, and we do not accept adverts for gambling or adult services.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim connected with a purchase is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss. If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
